From China with love!!

I found this amazing brand while looking for a bridesmaid’s dress for my friend’s wedding. I can’t imagine buying something in Zara or H&M for such an important event for me. So currently I’ve been busy with my research of independent Chinese designers. Chictopia is a label founded by Beijing born fashion designer Ching Yeung. S/S 2013 collection is so passionate and colorful so it’s caught my eye from the first view. I love the whole idea of this collection! The cut and prints are perfect. Cant’ believe Ching found this label when she was just 24.  Anyway I hope everything is going to be fine and I will be able to buy that “THE ONE” dress for my friend’s wedding!!

Lunch break!

Quick pics during the lunch break! This is the very first time in my life I wore so much red in one outfit. I was always afraid of it as it is a very powerful color. But these bright red pants from Gap seemed like a perfect option for the prefect spring day:) I completed outfit with Marc by Marc Jacobs ballet flats, H&M top, bag bought in Kuala Lumpur and denim jacket from one of small stores in Shanghai!
Have a great time my dears!! Love you all!!!

Trends obsession…

Seriously, I don’t understand, why on the Earth, people want to look the same. And…they don’t just want, they desire it!!
This season stripes, black n white geometrical prints, cropped tops, metallics, collage prints and patterns, Asian motives and knuckle rings, mirror sunnies are everywhere:(
My rule is: Trends are too mainstream, they are too boring. Even if I like something what is trending, I usually wear it when this trend is out of sight, so then everything looks kind of fresh and just stylish.
I admire people who found their own style and express themselves through clothes they wear, but not just to show the brands or trends they are wearing.
Sometimes it is really annoying when I find it impossible to to buy something what is not trending in mass market fashion stores. I still remember that couple of years ago, when the military style was booming, it was kind of hard to find a jacket which was not military.

Going retro…

Gorgeous Daria Werbowy tries retro look in Stylist Magazine’s April 2013 Edition. I’ve been making a small research about 50’s and 60s fashion, so this beauty editorial is just on time:) There can’t be too much retro:) I really enjoy watching nowadays interpretations of retro fashion. The make-up is stunning and Daria looks so perfect! Those false golden lashes and make-up on the whole are amazing!

Yellow skirt

There is no secret that yellow is one of my favorite colors. It somehow can lighten and brighten my days no matter how bad the weather is. So here is another super comfy outfit of mine: new skirt from one of the on-line shops, paired with Zara silver knit and Zara flats. Hope you are having a great time! Love you all!
