Iris Apfel for Blue Illusion

An Australian contemporary brand Blue Illusion definitely made a right choice inviting Iris Afel to be the face of their new campaign. Iris is awesome, inspirational and AGELESS!!! I would admit that Iris Apfel for Blue Illusion is one of the most interesting fashion campaigns lately! As the co-founder and creative director Donna Guest said:  “She’s is a modern day icon. She has liberated women from the ideals of age as a limitation; rather inspired them to not even question it.”  I can’t agree more, being 94!!! years old, Iris keeps inspiring women of all ages around the world. Honestly, I’m not that afraid of getting old anymore. By the way, you can read my previous post about Iris HERE

Kimono and culottes.

As you probably know I am a big fan of kimonos. The thing is that they add an irresistible twist to every look. I would definitely say that kimono is an essential part of my wardrobe, well, at least lately. I wear them with jeans, skirts, shorts; incorporate kimono in romantic, classic, casual, evening looks! Kimonos are so fun and versatile! This time I decided to complete the look with Mango culottes, Ms. Min belt, small bucket bag from one of taobao shops and Dolce Vita pumps.

Coffee paradise in Shanghai

For this whole week I have no coffee at home. I ordered a huge pack of my favourite coffee beans on Internet and I was waiting…So imagine this feeling when you wake up in the morning and, oh God, there is NOT even one coffee bean in the entire apartment. Then you, with your hands shaking and heart beating unevenly, start to think about the nearest decent place to buy coffee. And in Shanghai, with population of more than 20 million people, there is a huge amount of great places to drink coffee. And “Cafe del Volcan” is definitely one of them. It is a teeny tiny place on Yonkang road with just couple of tables but great GREAT coffee. I went there in the afternoon and there were almost no people there, so it was a perfect time to enjoy a cup of cappuccino and a chocolate cake outside.

So for great coffee head to  80 Yongkang Lu.

XOXO from Shanghai

Bucket bags!

No satchels, no clutches, no totes or hobos!!! Bucket bags are a definite winner of this season. In different sizes and different colours, bucket bags are perfect for almost all occasions. I love them for the excellent shape, when you can fit your container with lunch or even workout uniform. I’ve got bucket bags in large, medium and small:)) The biggest is for everyday errands, medium size is for weekend brunches and gallery visits and the smallest are for parties! Super convenient and chic. What is your favourite bag?

From Shanghai with love. XOXO
