This world is full of shoes – fabulous and gorgeous shoes; shoes that make us happy and save us; shoes that lighten our days. I often think about shoes as about art masterpieces. I like to look at shoes and even though I can’t afford all the shoes that I want, I can just get inspired and dream…. At the moment when I see a pair of shoes that I like – my heart starts to beat faster and my brain begins to process all the images of the possible outfits that I can complete with this pair of shoes. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I admit, I’m a shoes-a-holic!!! So let’s get inspired by the exquisite street style photos and prepare a pair of gorgeous shoes for tomorrow!
I truly admire ladies who is able to rock heels all day long. Unfortunately I can squeeze my feet into anything with heels higher than 3 cm for not longer than a couple of hours. I do have a lot of high heels but they rather serve the purpose of being my “eye candy”. Well, I’m quite lucky as there are a lot of options of flat shoes: ballerinas, espadrille flats, pointed flats, lace-up flat shoes and many many more. Flat shoes can be stylish and they sure can make their owner’s outfit look irresistible. Here are my seven favourite flats of this season:
Wedges, heels, mules, sandals, flats, booties, pumps, sneakers, platforms.. I love them all, I adore them, they make me happy, they inspire me. I like fun shoes, I like when the shoes make a fashion statement. I don’t enjoy when people choose the shoes to match the entire outfit, I rather prefer unexpected decisions and mix-n-don’t-match combinations. I truly admit, I do dream about shoes: when I see a pair I like, I immediately imagine how I would style it and where I could wear it. So, here are my Dreams in pictures…
I admit I got obsessed with royal/deep/electric or any shade of dark blue shoes after seeing these divine heels on Sarah Jessica Parker in “Sex and the City”
They are perfect, aren’t they? You can wear these beauties with dresses, jeans and jackets, shorts and T-shirts and they still will look amazing!
But there are so much more!!!
We still have around one month till the real autumn comes to Shanghai. So I try to enjoy every moment of perfect weather, but planning my autumn closet in advance. Getting ready for autumn includes getting rid of everything that I didn’t wear for the last two seasons, going to tailors and customising clothes I want to change and of course shopping! This season I need some serious shoe shopping. Currently I’m really obsessed with straps: T-straps, ankle straps …..any straps. Now the most difficult part: what to choose???
