Throwback Thursday!

I just understood how I love autumn. And autumns in Shanghai are just perfect. I always try to enjoy every single day of nice weather, especially knowing that winter:( is coming and , oh man, I’m not a winter person. That is why I take every chance to dress up nicely. Found these photos with one of my favourite vintage dresses which I got at “Lolo love vintage”. Every time I put on this dress, I feel so feminine!!! Love love love vintage dresses, especially when you style them correctly.

Love you all. XOXO from Shanghai

Bamboo alley

One of those hidden places in Shanghai that you just can’t ignore: bamboo alley on Julu road. It leads to a cosy Japanese restaurant (where I’ve never been but heard a lot of positive reviews). Love this place because it’s great for taking pictures, I guess it’s because of the light.

It was one of the last days before my trip to Thailand (going to tell you about it soon) and I decided to use this opportunity and take some nice pictures (many thanks to my friend Tammy who is a great photographer).  I was wearing my favourite vintage pants which I got in Bangkok and cardigan which I found on taobao.com. This year I discovered that I’m really into pants, turns out they are not just an “office material” :)))

Hope you are all having a great time!

XOXO from Shanghai

By Retro

“By Retro” is one of the oldest vintage and second-hand store in Istanbul and it is one of the largest in Europe. I should admit this place is really impressive. It is located on Istiklal avenue, one of the most popular and crowded places in Istanbul, so there will be no difficulties with finding it. I don’t know how many hours I spent there looking through hundreds of vintage items. “By Retro” is a perfect place for someone who is looking for something interesting and not pricey. Leather skirts and shorts, fur jackets, hats, 80’s and 90’s prom dresses, sunglasses, different national costumes, shoes and numerous amount of dresses!!! I usually hunt for vintage pieces because I like fabric or prints the rest can be customised into everything I want:) To me vintage items is a great way to look unique, fresh and certainly not trendy! You can find “By Retro” in the basement of Suriye Pasajı, İstiklal Caddesi 166C.

Here they are – steps to heaven:)

Photo of the day. New pants.

While getting ready the pictures from my second trip to Thailand, here is a quick post about what I was wearing today. It is getting really cold in Shanghai, but I still have a hope for at least a week of sunny and warm autumn weather. I was wearing my new vintage pants from Bangkok and a sweater from 1000 years ago:)) Have a great week!
